Dr. David M. Kelley is an Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Undergraduate Education within the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine. He joined the faculty in 2022 and holds leadership roles as clerkship director and division head for education. His career emphasizes medical education and clinical practice, with recognition through prestigious teaching awards and a focus on humanistic medicine.
Dr. Kelley graduated from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and completed his residency at the La Grange Family Medicine Residency. His clinical expertise spans women’s health, pediatric care, and preventive health across all life stages. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and has presented nationally on educational and clinical topics.
His awards highlight excellence in teaching and patient care, including the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award (2024). Beyond academia, he enjoys baking, home improvement, and family activities.
