David Lavallee is a Professor in the Department of Health, Sport and Wellbeing at Abertay University, serving as the University Head of Research Knowledge Mobilisation. He holds adjunct roles as Guest Professor at Keio University (Japan) and Adjunct Professor at the University of Limerick (Ireland). His educational background includes a PhD from the University of Western Australia, a Master’s from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s from Boston College.
His research focuses on Sport Sciences and Psychology, with notable contributions to understanding urinary incontinence in women, physical activity barriers, coaching behavior improvement, and competition integrity.
