David Laraway

David Laraway is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Brigham Young University (BYU). He specializes in Latin American and Hispanic literature, with a focus on authors like Jorge Luis Borges, César Vallejo, and Bernardo Atxaga. His research explores themes such as postcolonialism, cultural identity, and narrative theory. Laraway has held a Board Member position at the Instituto de Estudios Vallejianos since 2002. In 2013, he received the prestigious César Vallejo Award for promoting Hispanic culture.
