David Kunsch is Associate Professor and Chair of Management and Marketing at St. John Fisher University. He holds a PhD in strategy from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), an MSc in hazardous waste management from Wayne State University, an LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a B.S.E.E. from Kettering University. His teaching spans MBA courses in strategy, corporate governance, and negotiations, and undergraduate courses in strategy and international business.
Kunsch's research focuses on decision-making in organizational leadership and negotiation skills enhancement. His publications frequently explore illegal cartel activities, cross-disciplinary approaches to ethics, and business education methodologies. Articles emphasize themes like regulatory environments, pedagogical innovation, and comparative international business practices.
He consults on corporate governance as a lead facilitator at The Directors College in Canada and writes a column for the Rochester Business Journal. Prior to academia, he held roles as a business manager, senior counsel, and engineer at corporations including 3M Canada and General Motors.
