David Julius Ford, Jr. is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Professional Counseling at Monmouth University. He is a licensed counselor in North Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey, with expertise in multicultural counseling, HIV/AIDS advocacy, and intersectional research involving race, gender, and sexual orientation.

His scholarly interests focus on Black men in higher education, cultural sensitivity in mentoring, and the intersection of spirituality with sexual identity.
