David J. White

Dr. David J. White is an Associate Professor and Graduate Officer in the Department of Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Science. His research expertise encompasses animal social behavior, social evolution, and songbird neurobiology. He maintains a research lab focused on understanding the biological mechanisms underlying social interactions in avian species.

As Graduate Officer, Dr. White oversees graduate programs in psychology, providing academic leadership and mentorship to graduate students. His research employs interdisciplinary approaches combining behavioral observation, neurobiological analysis, and evolutionary theory to examine how social behaviors develop and are maintained in animal populations.
