David J. Messina is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, teaching Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy. He is a partner at Chaffe McCall, LLP, with nearly 30 years of experience in insolvency and bankruptcy matters. His practice includes representing debtors, creditors, and trustees in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases.
- Education: J.D. and M.B.A. from Loyola University (1987), B.M. from Loyola University (1984).
Mr. Messina specializes in Bankruptcy Law, Creditor-Debtor Rights, and Reorganization Law, with a focus on litigation and estate administration. He is board certified in business bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification and Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.
