David I. Fudman

David I. Fudman, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, within the School of Medicine, specializing in the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases. He focuses on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), particularly Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Fudman earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and politics from Brandeis University, his medical degree from UT Southwestern, completed internal medicine residency at Columbia University Medical Center, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center.

His research emphasizes quality improvement in healthcare delivery, treatment response prediction, and optimizing therapies for IBD.
