Dr. David Hone is a Reader in Zoology and Director of Outreach at Queen Mary University of London's School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences. He specializes in vertebrate paleontology, focusing on dinosaurs (particularly theropods) and pterosaurs, using extant animals as ecological analogs. His research addresses questions about behavior, ecology, and morphology in extinct vertebrates, including feeding strategies, social structures, and evolutionary adaptations. He teaches courses on evolution, ecology, and biodiversity at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
