David Hojer

David Hojer is a faculty member at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (formerly the Vienna Conservatory), where he has taught since 1990. His roles include accompanist, vocal coach, and musical director across programs like Singing and Opera, and Music Theatre. He holds leadership positions in ensemble training and opera projects.

His career spans performances as a solo pianist, chamber musician, and conductor across Europe. He has composed extensively for youth orchestras and arranged symphonic wind repertoire.

Award-winning pianist (Chopin Competition 1986), he has collaborated with major Danish festivals and orchestras. His current focus includes musical direction for music theatre productions and vocal ensemble pedagogy.
