David Hatchett

David Hatchett is a Professor and Vice President for Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) within the College of Sciences. His research focuses on the electrochemistry of f-element species dissolved in ionic liquids, with applications in actinide/lanthanide materials, fuel cell catalysis, and polymer-metal composites. He specializes in electrochemical deposition of actinides, leveraging the unique properties of ionic liquids to achieve high solubility and coordinated complex formation.
