David Hall

David Hall is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Materials at the University of Manchester, affiliated with the School of Materials. He holds a BSc (Physics) from the University of Leeds (1983) and a PhD in Ceramics from the same institution (1987). His research focuses on ferroelectric ceramics, piezoelectric properties, lead-free materials, and powder aerosol deposition for ceramic coatings. He has contributed to advanced materials science through over 120 publications and supervised 17 students. Current projects include high-temperature ferroelectrics and energy storage dielectrics.
