Dr. David Hajjar is an Associate Professor in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Department at Ithaca College, affiliated with the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. He earned his Ph.D. from Ohio University (2017) and holds clinical expertise in AAC and interprofessional education. His research focuses on improving communication access and participation for individuals using AAC through recreational activities, leveraging technology like visual scene displays and digital media. Dr. Hajjar teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in AAC, autism, and communication disorders, and supervises clinical programs like the Ewing Clinic and Community Life Skills Program.
