David H. Klemanski is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. He holds multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Yale Doctoral Internship in Clinical and Community Psychology, Director of the Psychological Assessment Service at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and Director of the Division of Quality and Innovation at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. He completed his PsyD at the University of Hartford and MPH at Columbia University, with postdoctoral training at Yale. His research focuses on anxiety disorders, emotion regulation, and mindfulness, with recent work exploring digital wellness and patient experience surveys like the PIX. He co-authored a popular self-help book on managing anxiety and contributes to media and community education. Awards include the 2024 Magnet Recognition Prize. Dr. Klemanski leads the Psychometrics and Digital Wellness Lab, emphasizing translational research and clinical innovation.
