David Greatbatch is an Honorary Visiting Professor at the School for Business and Society, University of York, since October 2020. Previously, he held visiting roles at Durham University Business School (2005-2020) and the University of Nottingham's School of Education (2003-2015). His academic journey includes positions at the Universities of Liverpool, London (King’s College), Oxford, Warwick, and Xerox Research Laboratory in Cambridge. He holds a BA (Hons) and PhD in Sociology from the University of Warwick.
