David Graham Blanchflower is the Bruce V. Rauner 1978 Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of London, Sussex, and Leicester, and was awarded Commander of the British Empire (CBE). His expertise spans labor economics, econometrics, and the economics of well-being, particularly focusing on youth mental health and societal trends. Blanchflower has authored over 50 publications since 2020, including influential works on global youth well-being declines and the impact of economic recessions on mental health.
