David G. Hewitt

David G. Hewitt serves as a Professor in the Department of Rangeland and Wildlife Sciences at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and holds the endowed position of Leroy G. Denman, Jr. Executive Director of Wildlife Research at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. Appointed to the faculty in 1996, he has established a long-standing academic career within the university's agricultural and natural resources framework.

His educational foundation includes a Ph.D. earned from Virginia Tech prior to his faculty appointment.
