David G W Birch

David G W Birch is a Senior Research Fellow at the Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance under King’s Business School at King’s College London and a Digital Fellow at the University of Exeter Business School’s DIGIT Lab. He is a globally recognized author, advisor, and commentator on digital financial services, identity, and cryptocurrencies, with a focus on the intersection of technology, money, and society.

He graduated with a BSc (Hons.) in Physics from the University of Southampton and has spent decades as a technologist and thought leader in secure electronic transactions.
