David Fulton is a Professor and Director at the Vascular Biology Center within the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He holds a PhD in Pharmacology from New York Medical College (1996), preceded by an MS (1995) and BS (1991, Honors) in Pharmacology from Monash University, Australia. With postdoctoral training at Yale University (1997-2001), his academic career spans over two decades, marked by leadership roles and extensive research contributions.
His research focuses on molecular mechanisms in vascular biology, including inflammation in obesity, circadian rhythm disruption in vascular disease, and epigenetic regulation in pulmonary hypertension. As a Regents' Professor since 2018, he has received numerous accolades, including the 2024 Outstanding Faculty Award and the 2016 Distinguished Research Award from AURI.
