David Frederick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, Chapman University. His research focuses on body image, sociocultural influences on appearance, sexual orientation, and evolutionary perspectives on mate preferences. He is a key contributor to the U.S. Body Project I, analyzing sociocultural and objectification theory constructs across diverse demographics.
