Brandee Lara is a Lecturer in the Department of Dance at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts. She holds a master's degree in dance and a bachelor's degree in acting and directing from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). With over 25 years of teaching experience, she advises the Chapman Tap Ensemble and produces an annual tap and rhythm show. Brandee also serves on the Musical Theatre and Dance faculties at Cal State University Fullerton.

Her expertise spans tap dance performance, choreography, and arts education curriculum development. She has contributed to public arts education programs in Orange County since 1992, including founding Huntington Beach's performing arts magnet school.
