David Feierabend

Prof. Dr. David Feierabend is a Professor of Business Informatics with a focus on Innovation and Sustainability at Reutlingen University's Faculty of Informatics. He leads the Chair for Innovation and Sustainability within the Department of Information Systems. His research emphasizes sustainable business models and entrepreneurship, particularly in digital health and environmental impact reduction. He holds a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) from RWTH Aachen and an M.Sc. in International Economics and Finance from the University of Tübingen. His teaching focuses on innovation for sustainable business, sustainability management, and introductory business informatics courses. He serves as the International Officer (Auslandsbeauftragter) and actively contributes to research projects like 5G-PreCiSe and AIDA, while advising startups in New Energy and Digital Health domains. His recent publications include groundbreaking work on telemedicine's environmental impact and entrepreneurial exit performance metrics. He has presented at leading conferences such as BCERC and RENT, and reviews for the BCERC conference.
