David F. Mercer

David F. Mercer, MD, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and Director of the Intestinal Rehabilitation Program. His academic roles include surgical leadership in transplantation and intestinal failure. He holds dual fellowship certifications: Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCS(C)) and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
