David Dobrzykowski

David Dobrzykowski is a Full Professor with Tenure in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. He serves as Senior PhD Program Coordinator for Supply Chain Management and Director of Walton College Healthcare Initiatives. Previously, he earned tenure at Rutgers University where he founded the Masters of Science program in Healthcare Services Management.

Dr. Dobrzykowski's research examines operations and supply chains that feature unique challenges to information processing and coordination of work processes, particularly in healthcare, humanitarian, and sharing economy contexts. His work focuses on healthcare supply chain management, blockchain adoption, AI applications in healthcare operations, supply chain resiliency during disruptions, and the interface between technology and operational performance.

His publications reveal a strong trend toward healthcare operations research, with recent work examining analytics in healthcare operations management, supply chain representation on corporate boards, and the impact of trauma on internal integration in disaster relief. His research bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in complex operational environments.
