David Dickinson

David Dickinson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of York's School of Physics, Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on computational and theoretical plasma physics, particularly instabilities and turbulence in magnetically confined plasmas for fusion energy applications. He holds a MPhys and PhD from the University of York.

Teaching & Grants: Teaches advanced plasma physics, programming for fusion energy, and computational techniques. Principal investigator on EPSRC-funded projects including the Plasma Physics HEC Consortium and STEP plasma modeling initiatives. Serves on the IoP Plasma Physics Committee and examined a PhD viva externally.
