Dr. David D. Timony is a Chair and Professor in the Department of Education at Delaware Valley University. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Temple University, along with an M.A.T. in Music Education and a B.M. in Jazz Guitar Performance from The University of the Arts.

Dr. Timony's research focuses on the identification and development of expertise, student perceptions of teacher effectiveness, and the impact of pro-social strategies on classroom behavior. His work bridges educational theory with practical applications for educators and institutions.
He has presented at prestigious venues including Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, Temple University, NYU’s Steinhardt School, and Phi Delta Kappa International’s Summit. Dr. Timony is also preparing to launch the Panic Lab at Delaware Valley University and in Los Angeles, focusing on learning and memory in suboptimal contexts, with plans to develop specialized coursework for law enforcement and military professionals.
