David Byrd Singer is a Lecturer in Management at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, specializing in Accounting. He holds an MBA from Stanford (1988) and a BA in History from Yale University (1984). Currently, he leads private investments at Maverick and serves as Vice Chair of College Track. Singer has extensive experience as a founder and CEO of prominent biotech firms, including Affymetrix, Corcept Therapeutics, and Genesoft Pharmaceuticals. He has served on 28 private company boards, including seven that went public during his tenure.
