David Buil-Gil is a Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Criminology and Open Research Lead at the University of Manchester's Department of Criminology. He specializes in quantitative methods applied to crime data analysis, cybercrime, and small area estimation. His research focuses on measurement error in crime statistics, fear of crime, and international crime data comparisons. He has collaborated with UK government agencies and international bodies.
