David Britt

David Britt is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences, University of South Carolina. With fifteen years of service, he directs productions and performs extensively.

• MFA, University of South Carolina

Research Interests: His work explores narrative development in theatre, character interpretation, and the integration of comedic improvisation in dramatic training. Focus areas include contemporary American theatre and classical adaptations.

Professional Engagement: Member of SAG/AFTRA; trained at New Actors Workshop (NYC) and Shakespeare and Company (MA); completed Second City Comedy Improvisation Boot Camp.
