Dr. David Alfaya Sánchez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, ICAI-Comillas, and an Associate Researcher at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT). He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2018), with prior degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science (both First National Prizes in their respective areas). His research integrates pure and applied mathematics, focusing on moduli spaces of decorated bundles (Higgs bundles, parabolic structures), Information Geometry, and AI-Math interactions.
