معرفی
David A. Huse holds the Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professorship in the Department of Physics at Princeton University. He earned his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1983 and B.S. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1979, following a 14-year research tenure at Bell Laboratories (1982-1996).
His research spans foundational theoretical physics domains:
- Statistical physics and phase transitions
- Quantum many-body systems including ultracold atoms
- Many-body localization phenomena
- Magnetic ordering in materials and spin models
- Superconductivity mechanisms
- Out-of-equilibrium quantum dynamics
- Quantum materials science
Honors reflect his field leadership:
- APS and AAAS Fellow
- National Academy of Sciences membership
- 2022 Lars Onsager Prize for quantum dynamics contributions
He actively mentors graduate students including Ha, Jacoby, Shulman, and Sommers while leading research supported by significant grants like the Moore Foundation's EPiQS theory center. Current work focuses on quantum thermalization, many-body Anderson localization, and emergent quantum correlations in ultracold molecular systems.
