David A. DiLoreto, Jr., M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as the Director of the Flaum Eye Institute. He specializes in retinal and vitreous diseases, with a focus on clinical research and stem cell transplantation for vision restoration.
Dr. DiLoreto earned his MD and PhD in Neuroanatomy from the University of Rochester and completed residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California.
