Dr. Dave Payling is an Associate Professor in the Department of Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business at Staffordshire University. His research focuses on Visual Music, Electronic Dance Music, and audio-visual composition, blending digital animation with electronic music. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and serves as the From the Floor section editor for Dancecult: Journal of Electronic Dance Music Culture.
