Dr. Dave Chatterjee is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Engineering Graduate and Professional Programs at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from Florida State University (1997) and an MBA from East Carolina University (1992). His research focuses on cybersecurity preparedness, enterprise digitization, and information technology management. Notably, he developed the Commitment-Preparedness-Discipline (CPD) framework, a holistic approach to cybersecurity readiness widely adopted across industries including healthcare and technology.
Dr. Chatterjee has taught cybersecurity courses at Duke and the University of Georgia, emphasizing leadership roles in cybersecurity strategy. His work has been published in Forbes, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Journal of Management Information Systems, with over 3,000 citations.
