Daryna Dvornichenko

Daryna Dvornichenko is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and King’s College London. She holds a PhD in Political Science and advanced degrees in International Relations from Odesa I Mechnikov National University. Her academic background includes certificates from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the European Academy of Diplomacy, and the British Law Centre.

Before Ukraine’s 2022 invasion, she served as an Associate Professor at the National University Odesa Maritime Academy and as an adviser to the Research Institute of Informatics and Law of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. She has also been a guest lecturer at institutions like the University for Foreigners in Perugia, the University of Zagreb, and Ukrainian Catholic University.

Her research focuses on European integration, gender studies, and women’s political participation, with over 40 publications. She founded ‘Agents of Change!’ to promote women’s leadership and non-formal education in Ukraine. Recent affiliations include the German Marshall Fund (2022) and the University of Wrocław (2021). She co-investigated research on Ukraine’s inclusive recovery strategies and has contributed to policy papers and podcasts analyzing displacement crises and gender dynamics.
