Dr Darsy Darssan is a Lecturer in Biostatistics at The University of Queensland's School of Public Health. He holds dual professional certifications as an Accredited Professional Statistician (PStat®) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His academic journey includes a Bachelor's from the University of Jaffna (2005), a Master's from RMIT University (2008), and a PhD from Queensland University of Technology (2014). He has held roles at the University of Liverpool (UK) for postdoctoral research and as a Biostatistician at UQ before his current position.

Research Interests: Dr Darssan focuses on spatial health-environmental impact modeling, particularly linking geospatial factors to disease risks.
