Darren K. Domsky

Darren K. Domsky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Liberal Studies, Philosophy at Texas A&M University at Galveston. His research focuses on Ethics (Ethical Theory, Moral Psychology, and Meta-Ethics), Environmental Ethics, and related areas such as Bioethics and Experimental Philosophy. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from York University (2006), an M.A. from the University of Alberta (1998), and a B.A. (Honors) in Philosophy from the same university (1996).

Domsky’s work explores questions of moral responsibility, environmental philosophy, and the intersection of ethics with social psychology. His publications analyze concepts like moral luck, ecological communitarianism, and the foundations of ethical frameworks. He has presented widely on topics such as interference in ethical reasoning and the philosophical implications of ecological thought.
