Darrell Latva, DPM, serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at Rosalind Franklin University's Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where he has held faculty positions since 1992 with continuous active service.

Dr. Latva founded the podiatry residency program at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center, restored its podiatry service as Chief, and established Scholl College's 3rd-year psychomotor skills lab in 1994 which remains operational today. He currently teaches the 2nd-year surgical course and Surgery Capstone while maintaining board certification through ABFAS and ABPM.
