Adam E. Fleischer is a Professor in the Department of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He is board-certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery. Dr. Fleischer holds a BS from the University of Pittsburgh (Summa Cum Laude), a DPM from the Scholl College (Summa Cum Laude), and an MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
His research focuses on musculoskeletal imaging (MRI/ultrasound), diabetic foot care, surgical outcomes, health economics, and fall risk reduction. Recent publications emphasize cost-effectiveness in surgery, diabetic limb preservation, and advanced imaging techniques.
Dr. Fleischer directs the Advocate IL Masonic Medical Center Podiatric Residency Program and teaches courses including Lower Extremity Traumatology, Podiatric Radiology, and Clinical Research Methods. He serves on institutional committees and holds leadership roles in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Clinically, he practices at the Scholl Foot & Ankle Center, Advocate Condell Medical Center, and the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute, specializing in elective/reconstructive foot surgery.
