معرفی
Professor Darragh Murnane is a leading academic in Pharmaceutics at the University of Hertfordshire, holding the position of Professor of Pharmaceutics within the Department of Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Biological Science. He is also the President of the Aerosol Society, representing the UK and Ireland in aerosol research networks. His research focuses on optimizing drug delivery to respiratory systems, particularly inhalation therapies, and spans collaborations with leading pharmaceutical companies like GSK, Pfizer, and TEVA. He has pioneered projects in aerosol behavior, formulation analysis, and sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing. His work integrates chemical engineering, physical chemistry, and clinical insights to enhance drug targeting and reduce patient variability. Murnane has developed postgraduate programs such as the MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences and led industry-funded research initiatives, emphasizing translational science between academia and industry. He currently oversees high-impact projects funded by EPSRC and other bodies, addressing challenges in inhalation product design, microstructural equivalence in manufacturing, and aerosol-humidity interactions.
