Darragh Flannery

Darragh Flannery is an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick, Department of Economics, specializing in applied microeconometric analyses of education and health policy. He directs the MSc in Economics and Policy Analysis and teaches microeconomics, education economics, and European economic integration.

• Research Interests: Focused on education economics (student loans, class size effects, single-sex schooling) and health economics (mental health services, rare disease costs).
• Key Projects: Examines socioeconomic inequality in study abroad participation, educational disadvantage under Ireland's DEIS plan, and international student mobility impacts through EU COST Action CA20115.
