Darlene Green-Connor is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance at Morgan State University’s School of Business and Management. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Columbia Southern University (2019), an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University (1984), and a B.A. in Accounting from Loyola College (1982). With 11 years of teaching experience, she specializes in undergraduate and graduate accounting education. Prior to academia, she spent 32 years in the Electric and Gas Utility Industry, working in roles spanning general accounting, plant accounting, budgeting, cost control, and leadership.
Her research interests focus on organizational culture, diversity & inclusion, and accounting practices. She emphasizes adaptive teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and fosters a supportive educational environment.
