معرفی
Darko Uher is a Professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, specializing in plant sciences and forage crop production. He works within the Department of Field Crops, Forage and Grassland, focusing on sustainable agricultural systems and the use of plant species in hunting environments.
- Education
- PhD (2007): Effect of inoculation and nitrogen top-KAN on the quality and yield of new pea genotypes
- MSc (2004): Effect of inoculation and nitrogen on winter pea and cereal yields
- BSc (1998): Effect of inoculation and nitrogen on winter pea and wheat yields
Research Interests
His work centers on optimizing forage crop production on arable land, integrating biological and physiological factors influencing yields, and developing sustainable systems for field crops and bioenergy crops. He explores plant species' roles in hunting habitats and soil improvement through cultivation practices.
Projects & Grants
He has coordinated multiple projects, including Nutritional Potential of Forage Crops, New Technologies for Pea Cultivation, and Sustainable Crop Production Systems, funded by the Ministry of Science (MZOS) and the University of Zagreb. These projects spanned 2007–2017, emphasizing sustainable agricultural practices.
