Daria Filipiak-Kowszyk

Daria Filipiak-Kowszyk serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geodesy within the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology. Her office is located in room 114b of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Building (HYDRO). She maintains an active research program focused on geodetic measurements for structural safety assessment and displacement monitoring in engineering applications.

Dr. Filipiak-Kowszyk's research centers on displacement measurement techniques and structural monitoring systems. Her work addresses critical safety issues through precise geodetic control measurements, with specializations in vertical displacement analysis in relative monitoring networks, geometrical condition assessment of crane bridges, and statistical approaches to displacement significance evaluation. Her research extends to elevator shaft control measurements and predictive modeling using Kalman filtering for seaport transport structures.
