Darcie D Moeller is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Medical Social Sciences, Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. She serves as the COVID-19 Health Equity Medical Director at Cook County Department of Public Health and is core faculty for the Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Training Program at Cook County Health and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Additionally, she works as an attending physician at the Ruth M Rothstein CORE Center's STI screening clinic.
- Education: MD from Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University (2018), MPH and Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (2021).
Her research focuses on Health Communications, Health Literacy, and Public Health, particularly addressing Health Equity, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Women's Health. Her recent work includes epidemiological studies on SARS-CoV-2 transmission and serologic evidence in healthcare settings. She also leads the Health Literacy Initiative and Community Health Worker Programs at Cook County Department of Public Health.
