Dr. Daqian Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at The University of Alabama. His research focuses on integrating bioelectrochemical technologies and life cycle assessment to address environmental challenges such as contaminant removal, sustainable infrastructure, and wastewater treatment.
He earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from Renmin University of China, followed by two M.S. degrees in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy and Statistics from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
