Dante Furioso is a PhD candidate and Graduate Research Fellow at Princeton University, affiliated with the Latin Americanists at Princeton group and the Department of History and Theory of Architecture. His work bridges architecture, history, and social justice.
His research interests include:
- History of architecture
- Construction history
- Labor history
- Colonial history
- Nineteenth-century Atlantic history
The focus of his dissertation is on enslaved and freed laborers in the construction industry in nineteenth-century Cuba, examining intersections of colonization, capitalism, and professional design techniques.
