Danko Špoljarić

Danko Špoljarić is a Professor of Professional Studies and course holder for Law in Tourism at the Edward Bernays Polytechnic. He holds a doctoral degree in Legal Sciences specializing in financial law, with research focusing on taxation of private equity and venture capital funds. His professional career spans legal practice, corporate management roles at Croatia osiguranje (focusing on insurance and corporate law), and extensive supervisory board experience. He served as President of the Supervisory Board of PBZCROATIA (managing mandatory pension funds) and as a member/management board member of the Croatian Depository Agency (SKDD).

His academic expertise bridges financial law, tourism law, and corporate governance. Beyond academia, he actively supports legal education through his long-term leadership of the Zlatko Crnić Foundation, which provides scholarships to outstanding law students. He maintains active involvement in professional bodies like the Croatian Depository Agency and continues to engage with strategic management roles in financial institutions.
