Danilo Silva Guimarães, an Indigenous person of Tikmu'un (Maxakali) ancestry, serves as tenured Professor of History and Philosophy of Psychology in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of São Paulo's Institute of Psychology. He coordinates the Indigenous Person Care Network housing the USP House of Indigenous Cultures and pioneered the Dialogical Multiplication framework for Indigenous Psychology.
His research integrates History and Philosophy of Psychology with Semiotic-Cultural Constructivism to address decolonial approaches in psychological knowledge systems.
