Danilo Giglitto

Dr Danilo Giglitto is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Media Arts and Communication at Sheffield Hallam University, within the College of Social Sciences and Arts. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen. His research focuses on cultural heritage, media studies, and human-computer interaction, emphasizing participatory methodologies, decolonisation, and technology co-design. Key projects include the PICCH initiative (2021–2023) addressing colonial archives and the CultureLabs EU project (2018–2021) developing digital tools for social inclusion.
